Magz89 is a magnetic building set consisting of 52 magnetized rods of 2.3″ long and 37 steel balls of 1/2″ in diameter. Magz89 is an intermediate model and designed for medium builds.
I purchased this set for my 6 year old son because my 11 year old son had a similar set by another company when he was that age. The price of the similar set now was crazy expensive so I chose the Magz 89 Building kit instead because of its lower price tag. I was worried it would be cheap or flimsy but its not. I like the size of the parts and the quality is good. The connecting bits are sturdy. It is fun and easy to build with, even for me. Both my kids have played with the set every day since it arrived. They get very imaginative with it and one can build with it in a 3-D way or flat on the table. I would recommend this set to anyone who like building kits or imaginative play.
